Kogi AGL Felicitates with Muslims on Eid-Al-Fitr Celebrations

The Auditor General for Local Government in Kogi State, Hon. Yakubu Adabenege Siyaka, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in the state and beyond on the occasion of Eid-Al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Siyaka congratulated the faithful for successfully completing the month-long fasting, prayers, and devotion, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the period. He urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of patience, sacrifice, and piety exemplified during Ramadan and to continue demonstrating love, unity, and compassion towards one another.
“Eid-Al-Fitr is a time of gratitude and reflection. It is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and unity in our communities. Let us use this moment to promote peace, tolerance, and the values that make our society stronger,” he stated.
Hon. Siyaka also called on Muslims to imbibe the lessons learned during Ramadan in their daily lives, stressing the importance of sincerity, humility, and service to humanity. He reiterated his commitment to good governance and accountability in the local government system, pledging to continue working towards the development and prosperity of the state.
The Auditor General further urged the people of Kogi State to pray for continued peace and progress in the state and Nigeria as a whole, while encouraging them to support government efforts in ensuring sustainable development at all levels.
He wished all Muslims a joyous and fulfilling Eid-Al-Fitr celebration, praying that Allah (SWT) accepts their acts of worship and grants them abundant blessings.
