Kogi Assembly Commission Boss Urges Christians to Exhibit More Love, Charity

Christians in Kogi State have been enjoined to continue to exhibit Love and Charity which are the hallmarks of Jesus Christ.

The Chairman, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Abdulmalik Andas made the call in his message of felicitation to Christians in the State.

The Chairman on behalf of Members and Staff of the Commission congratulated the christian community on the occasion of Christmas and advised them to always be their brother’s keepers and help those in need.

The Commission Chairman said the season of Christmas should remind them of the importance to show kindness, love and forgiveness as these virtues strengthen good neighborliness.

He specially empathized the need for the people to give thanks to God for the outgoing year in sparing their lives to witness the Christmas among other blessings, despite the challenges possed by Covid’ 19 and its attendant problems.

He called for prayers for the State and Nation at large, saying with renewed commitment and hope the problems faced by the people would be surmounted.

Alhaji Abdulmalik who also called for collective efforts in the quest to make Nigeria great for the benefit of humanity, rejoiced with Christians on the occasion of Christmas and prayed for a prosperous twenty-twenty- one for all.
