Kogi COS, Ali Bello Gifts Ebira Born Pencraft, Adinoyi Enehe 500k for Completing Guinness World Record for 90-Hour Caricature Drawing
The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ali Bello, on Monday, gave out five hundred thousand Naira support to Kogi-born artist, Peter Adinoyi Enehe who recently set a new Guinness World Record for the longest caricature marathon by an individual.
The 90 consecutive hours longest caricature marathon started on the 25th of January at the Chinbell Luxury Hotel and Suites, Lekki – Ikate, Lagos, with the artist breaking the old record, held by Hariom Kumar Singh (India), which stood at 77 hours, 1 minute, and 16 seconds.
A caricature is an imitation (usually by drawing) of a person in which certain striking characteristics are exaggerated in order to create a comic or weird effect.
According to the Chief of Staff, the gesture was to commend the young man for attempting and eventually breaking a world record which has not only put his name on the global map, but also further promoting Kogi as a state full of tallented and enterprising youths who are making the state proud.
While congratulating Adinoyi for the feat, Alhaji Ali Bello said the Guinness World Record breaker, along with other productive youths in the state continue to spark the spirit of excellence among young people across the country. He assured that the administration of Governor Ododo Usman will continue to identify and support great talents in the state.
