Kogi Deputy Speaker tasks Ibaji stakeholders on reviving primary education

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchola has called on Ibaji youths and leaders of thoughts to revive and reposition primary education in Ibaji. The lawmaker emphasized on the need for proper education of children as it is the bedrock for progress and development.

She made this known during an interactive session with the leaders of Ibaji Youth Development Association led by Comr Celestine Okpanachi in Enweli over the weekend.

The Deputy Speaker who was pleased with the association’s management body for its steadfastness and determination to take Ibaji to an enviable height, called on the people to unite and join the APC led administration in bringing the gains of democracy to Ibaji, rather than engaging in unnecessary wishes and prayers for the down fall of their leaders.

“In spite of our bad road, we are not the worst local government area. We know that we have work to do and certainly, we will get it right. She added.

The lawmaker equally tasked the Gagos to be more diligent in the discharge of their duties, especially urging the parents in their locality to make education of their children a top priority.

Other’s dignitaries at the occasion are Hon Timothy Ojomah, the Honourable Commissioner for agriculture and food security, Hon Emmanuel Ugeh, Caretaker Chairman Ibaji LGA, the APC Party Chairman, Hon ThankGod Omale,
Dr Gabriel Ottah, former SA on information and communication to former Governor of Kogi state, and host of others.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of gifts to the lawmaker for her dedication and commitment to lifting Ibaji to a higher height, by Enweli Cultural troupe.
