Kogi First Lady Visits Family Of Late APC Women Leader, Expresses Sympathy »

The wife of Kogi State Governor and First Lady Mrs Rashida Bello has commiserated with the family of the late All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader Mallama Mariam Egbunu who passed on yesterday after a brief illness.

Mrs Rashida Bello while speaking during the funeral rites of the late Women Leader in Abocho, Dekina Local Government Area, described the late party chieftain as a courageous and committed woman who worked selflessly for the betterment of society especially the women folk.

She further described late Mrs Egbunu as a dedicated party woman and an exemplary party leader whose life should be emulated by all.

“Her death is no doubt a big loss to the State and the entire APC Family in general ” she added.

The First Lady equally prayed God to grant the soul of the late woman leader a peaceful repose and also grant the Family the fortitude to bare the great loss.
