Kogi Gov't House Press Crew celebrates Gov Bello, lauds his giant strides »

The Press Crew, Kogi State Government House, has described Governor Yahaya Bello as a leader with the vision and courage to effect positive change in the society.

It acknowledged that Governor Bello has demonstrated uncommon political will in addressing challenges of insecurity, ethnicity and more recently, the Covid-19 pandemic that would have grounded socio-economic activities in the state.

In a statement issued on behalf of the group by its chairman, Louis Yunusa and Secretary, Williams Egwuda, members of the press crew described as laudable the giant strides of his administration since assuming office as the fourth and fifth elected Governor of the state.

His courageous, detribalised and development- driven governance style, the group noted, was the reason they conferred an award on him during their end-of year get-together in December last year.

As an insider group, covering the activities of his administration, they pointed out that Governor Bello has shown himself as a leader with the love of the state at heart, as well as exhibiting uncommon commitment to its unity, peace and development.

As he marks a year in his second term in office, they prays for more wisdom and strength for him in his determination to leave Kogi much better than he met it.

The statement appealed for the prayers and support of citizens of the state towards the success of the programmes and policies of the administration.
