Kogi Guber: APC clears Onoja to contest party primary
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Screening Committee for Kogi State has cleared Chief Edward Onoja for the November 11, 2023 governorship election in the state.
InsideStory reports that the screening exercise took place at the Ladi Kwali hall, Continental hotel, Abuja on Saturday March 25th, 2023.
Onona, who is the incumbent Deputy governor of the state, was among 18 other aspirants from the party that picked the APC nomination and expression of interest forms for the November poll.
Reacting to the result of the screening, the Deputy Governor took to his Facebook page to thank God for the victories. He appreciated his party the All Progressives Congress and his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello for the opportunity.
