Ahead of the November 11 governorship poll in Kogi State, a strong APC stalwart who is the former Commissioner of Works, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abdulmumin Sadiq has continued to galvanise the support of Uka stakeholders for the APC candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo.

Hon. Sadiq last week began series of engagements with stakeholders of Uka clan leadership across Adavi, Ajaokuta & Okehi Local Government Areas where he sought to solidify support for the APC candidate.

The Uka clan boast of over one hundred thousand registers voters in Kogi State.

Yesterday’s meeting which took place at the residence of the former Commissioner in Inoziomi was a resounding success as it culminated in a unanimous endorsement of Hon. Ododo and his running mate, Comr. Joel Salifu by the Clan chiefs, youths and women leaders.

The clan assured that they would mobilize their people from within and outside to cast their votes for APC at the November 11 poll.

Hon. Abdulmumin Sadiq in a speech charged the Uka clan to deliver their votes for the APC candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, assuring that Ododo would consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello by ensuring an overall development of the state.

He said the APC candidate remains the best man to further the development strides of the New Direction government, stressing that his wealth of experience and leadership accument would would aid him in further uniting the people and delivering more dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi State. He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for ensuring security and even development of the state.
