Kogi Health Insurance Agency Sensitises Public On Vital Contributor Plan
The Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, KGSHIA, last Tuesday, carried out an outdoor marketing road walk and sensitization campaign on her Vital Contributor Health Insurance Plan on major streets of Lokoja metropolis.
The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Adekunle Aledare who coordinated the road walk said the Vital Contributor Health Insurance Plan is a package of the Kogi State Health Insurance Agency which involves individuals contributing fifteen thousand naira per annum per person to cover for the health care needs of the person in a year.
Dr. Aledare declared that the fifteen thousand naira per person per annum covers the health care needs of the individual whenever he or she suffers health challenges within the year.
He maintained that the coverage of the health care services of the programme includes general consultations, Malaria, Typhoid, Ante-natal care, deliveries, Pediatrics, Ultra-sound, X-ray, Laboratory, Orthopedic, Physiotherapy services amongst others.
Dr. Aledare called on well to do individuals, organizations to take advantage of the programme and enroll for themselves, relatives and the less priveledge in the society. He maintained that the Agency is well committed to delivering access to quality care services to all her enrollees.
The Executive Secretary also thanked the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the political and financial commitment to the Agency in carrying out her activities. He also declared that the Agency will continue to perform her statutory roles of providing quality health care services to the people of Kogi State
