Kogi NYCN rates Bello administration high on youth inclusiveness as administration clocks 5
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi State Chapter has felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello as he marks another year in office.
The State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Isreal Femi Alonge, on behalf of Kogi Youths, showered goodwill messages to the Governor and His Deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja, saying that an anniversary like this is worth celebrating judging from the impeccable achievements the Government has recorded within such a short time.
He hailed the administrative style of Governor Yahaya Bello especially in terms of ensuring that over ninety five percent of his aides are Youths. This to say the least, is a lifetime unbeatable legacy because nowhere in history of Nigeria have we had such a privilege as Youths to occupy a large portion of governance and Policy Making in any Administration.
Also, the Chairman expressed confidence that the remaininng years in office will as usual attract more dividends of good governance to the people of Kogi State.
“It would not be a misplacement of commendation to appreciate his Excellencies for the establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, speed of light ongoing Construction of World Class Reference Hospital Project, Okene, the approval and ongoing Construction of another general hospital in Gegu, Kogi Local Government Area, as well as the total declaration of State of emergency in the Agricultural Sector Within the State not forgetting the total shutdown of insecurity challenges within the State. All of these are part of the reasons why this anniversary is worthy of being Celebrated, Comrade Alonge noted.
Speaking further, the Chairman on behalf of the Youths, once again called on Governor Yahaya Bello to consider heeding to the calls of Nigerian Youths to run for Presidency come 2023, stressing that he has been identified as the lone voice speaking courageously in favour of the Youths in the country especially during the period of the EndSARS saga sometimes late last year, and also judging by his boldness and Courage in managing the issues of Corona Virus in the state.
The Chairman enjoined His Excellencies to continue doing the good works they have started in the state, praying that God almighty will grant them long lives and good health to pilot well the affairs of the State within the remaining years in left in office.
