Kogi NYCN transition 2021; allocation of positions, sales of forms announced »

Consequent to the assurances of the electoral committee for the upcoming transition by Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYNCN), the body has announced the positions up for elections and the senatorial districts that are eligible for the positions.

Chairman of the committee, Comrade Isah Onimisi Banagida made the announcement in a press statement he made available to the media on Monday in Lokoja.

According to the statement, the eastern senatorial district of the state would be where the action is as they are the ones eligible for the position of chairman. They are also eligible to hold the positions of Assistant Secretary, Provost Marshal and Social Secretary.

Also available for the senatorial district are posts for Vice Chairman and Organizing Secretary for Eastern Senatorial District as well as the Assistant Programme Officer.

For the central senatorial district, the positions available are Deputy Chairman, PRO, Treasurer, Auditor, Women Leader, Vice Chairman (Central) and Organizing Secretary.

Meanwhile Sales and submission of nomination forms begins tomorrow 6th July, 2021 and is expected to end next week Wednesday, 14th July, 2021 while Screening of Aspirants would commence on Thursday, 15th of July and end on Tuesday 20th of July, 2021.

Release of list of contestants from the screening would take place on Tuesday, 20 th of July, 2021 and it is to be followed by Manifesto Night on Thursday 22 nd July, 2021.

Delegate Accreditation / Elective Congress takes place on Friday and Saturday. The details for the events are contained on the attached images.
