Kogi Poly grants accelerated promotion to dutiful security staff
Kogi state Polytechnic has granted accelerated promotion to one of its Security staff, Mr. Stephen Sunday Aribido for excellent performance of his duty.
The benefitting staff who was due for a promotion to the rank of a Senior Security Officer (SSO), CONTEDISS 09 was decorated by the Rector accompanied by the institution’s Chief Security Officer with the Rank of a Principal Security Officer (CONTEDISS 11).
The Rector notified that such gesture was in a bid to reward excellence and diligence and also serve as motivation for other staffers within the polytechnic environment.
He added that Mr. Stephen an indigene of Kabba-Bunnu had distinguished himself in the service of Kogi polytechnic while he had also averted security catastrophe through his gallantry and dedicated service.
Dr. Ogbo urged him not to rest on his oars noting that he should see his new promotion as a call to more work.
The obviously excited officer could not hide his joy, while he also thanked the Polytechnic leadership for the gesture granted to him.
