Kogi Poly Rector felicitates with Hon. Wemi Jones on his birthday
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr Salisu Ogbo Usman, has felicitated with the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Honourable Wemi Jones, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol Unit, of the institution, Uredo Omale, on Saturday, 13th of February, 2021, the Rector said Honourable Jones’ passion for the educational development of Kogi State has been outstanding as evident in the rapid development witnessed in the state owned institutions, including Kogi State Polytechnic.
Dr. Usman described the celebrant as a man of honour, peace and genuine character, and one whose drive for hard work and humanitarian services is exemplary.
The Rector who congratulated the Honourable Commissioner on behalf of the Academic Board, Management, staff and students of the Polytechnic also prayed God to grant him sound health and abundant wisdom to further make positive contributions to humanity.
“As an astute administrator and positive realist with a drive to contribute to the development of Kogi State, you have made an indelible mark in the educational sector and political affairs of the state thereby promoting the new direction government of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello”, he stressed.
He prayed God almighty to bless him with long life and sound health to render more service to the people of Kogi State and humanity at large.
