Kogi Social Media Awards to hold February 4th in Lokoja
The Convener, Kogi Social Media Awards, Dansofo Usman Jr. has expressed the team’s readiness to host the 5th Edition of the prestigious Kogi’s Biggest Awards event.
In a press statement issued on the 11th of January, 2023, Dansofo said that the Organizing Team is fully ready and that necessary mechanisms have been put in place for a successful hosting of the Award.
He disclosed that the theme of this year’s awards is “Social Media: its Psychological & Emotional Effects” with sub-topics which includes “Promoting Brands” etc. He noted that prominent guests will be invited to speak at the event.
Mr. Dansofo said, “the award was an avenue to appreciate those who have paid their dues on the Kogi Social Media space by positively impacting the online audience and to also set the standard/guide moderation for users of social media in Kogi state.
The convener added that the voting site is 100% ready and has put necessary securities on it to avoid any manipulations by voters during the process as it was witnessed during the last Edition where some people engaged the use of VPN to alter votes.
The statement strongly called on the state government to participate/partner with the organizers inform of sponsorship in order to enjoy a better event this year. It also solicits supports from individuals, corporate organizations & members of the public.
Nominations entries begins on Saturday 14th January, 2023 on the Awards page on Facebook while voting commences on Sunday 15th January, 2023 on the official webpage www.ksma.com.ng/2023.
The grand finale holds on the 4th of February, 2023 at Wisdom Event Hall, Lokoja Kogi State by 9:00am.
