Kogi Works Commissioner congratulates Hon Ododo On Primary Election Victory
Lauds Gov. Bello for creating a credible atmosphere
The Kogi state Commissioner for Works and Housing Hon. Samson Bako has congratulated Honorable Usman Ododo on his, victory in the primary election held on 14th, April 2023.
In a congratulatory message he personally signed on Friday, said the resounding victory in the primary election was a product of Governor Bello’s good governance saying that it is an affirmation of the widely-acknowledged performance of the Governor in the infrastructure and other inindustries that reflected upon the immediate Auditor General of Kogi state local governments.
He said: “the All Progressives Congress members in Kogi State rose in their large numbers to exercise their democratic rights.
“They voted massively to give Hon Ododo a clear mandate to contest for Governor under our great party APC.
“Their determination was conveyed in very clear and apparent terms. We wholeheartedly congratulate and rejoice with you.”
Hon. Bako said that Hon Ododo’s victory was also an expression of confidence the teeming party members in Kogi had in his potential and capacity to stimulate the state to a more enviable height.
He commended the leadership of the party for ensuring the success of the primary election and for effectively mobilizing its members to participate fully in the electoral process.
According to him, the party members also deserve praise for not only conducting themselves in an orderly manner but for ensuring that their choices are expressed freely, fairly, and unreservedly.
He also applauded security officers for creating the environment, which enabled the primary election to be conducted peacefully.
Bako finally added that, with the choice of Hon. Ododo as the people’s candidate, the tenet of New Direction Administration would be sustained even after the expiration of this current tenure.
