NKFI takes delivery of 2023 training equipments from KOICA

In furtherance of their commitment towards ensuring up to date learning, the Korea International Corporation Agency (KOICA) from South Korea has equipped the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute with 2023 training equipments.

While taking delivery from KOICA representative, the Rector stated that amongst the items received included 40 brand new 2023 AI-One desktop computers, 2 brand new HP HD industrial coloured printers, 9 brand new multifunction HP printers, 1 brand new sharp photocopying machine and an E-Library server with over 10,000+ e-books as well as an external HDD of 5000 terabit.

The Rector who thanked the partners for their continued commitment to the growth and advancement of the institute used the medium to encourage parents, guardians and sponsor to send their children to NKFI to give them a secured future. Ours is a 2-in-1 institute i.e vocational and enterprise, he added.

He added that the institute have the approval of the board of National and Technical Education – NBTE alluding that such qualification would enhance their employability and prepare them as valuable assets for any organisation.

“We offer National Diploma programs and very soon, we will start Higher National Diploma programs. We also run short term programs like 3 and 6 months diploma programs”.

In a another report, the Hydro Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission on Friday sent a delegation led by the Administrative Officer, Mr. Michael Omeiza Ajayi for an on the spot assessment of the institute in a bid to explore areas of possible collaboration.

While the team expressed satisfaction over the institute’s operations and facilities, the Rector, Mr. Williams Charles Oluwatoyin pointed out that NKFI was spreading its tentacles to areas of interest for growth and ultimate benefit of the people.
