Kogit State Government felicitates with Prince Akanmode, Senator Smart Adeyemi on their birthday
The Governor, Government and people of Kogi State felicitate with our illustrious sons, Prince Olusola Akanmode and Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi on the auspicious occasion of their birthday.
While Prince Olusola Akanmode contributed immensely to the development of the State as a former Secretary to the State Government and also to the nation as a former Deputy Chief of Staff to the President; Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi has been a strong voice for national renaissance at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly for over 9 years.
As a Government, we are proud of these enigmatic characters who perfectly define our identity as a people of sterling values, discipline, industry, excellence, courage and integrity.
Prince Olusola Akanmode, now 70, was instrumental to the institutional foundation and policy formulation in the state since creation.
Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi is the Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, a fearless legislator and voice against corruption and oppression. He is 58 years old today.
