LABOUR DAY: Ali Bello Salutes Kogi Workers, Reaffirms Commitment to Welfare
The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ali Bello, has felicitated with workers across the state on the occasion of the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration, commending their dedication and contributions to the growth and development of the state.
In a goodwill message issued on Friday to mark May 1st, Bello described workers as the backbone of governance and sustainable development, noting that their resilience and commitment continue to drive progress across various sectors in Kogi State.
He stated that Workers’ Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the sacrifices and invaluable services rendered by the workforce toward the advancement of the state.
The Chief of Staff acknowledged the efforts of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in prioritizing workers’ welfare, stressing that the government remains committed to implementing policies and initiatives aimed at improving working conditions and creating opportunities for professional growth and fulfillment.
According to him, the present administration recognizes the sacrifices made daily by workers and will continue to pursue programmes that enhance their wellbeing and productivity.
Bello urged workers in the state to remain patriotic, steadfast, and committed to excellence in the discharge of their duties, while assuring them of the government’s continued support.
He further encouraged the workforce to sustain their cooperation with the administration as it works toward building a stronger and more prosperous Kogi State.
“I celebrate every worker today and always. Your labour is not in vain,” he stated.
