“Let Lessons of Eid Guide Us in Service to Humanity” – Kogi AGL Urges Muslims

The Auditor General for Local Government in Kogi State, Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege, has urged Muslims to allow the teachings of Eid-el-Kabir to reflect in their daily lives and service to humanity.

In his Eid-el-Kabir message released on Friday, Hon. Adabenege described the festival as a sacred period that reinforces the values of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith in Allah (SWT).

“This holy celebration reminds us of the profound values of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to the will of Allah. As we mark this sacred festival, may the lessons of Eid guide us in service to humanity,” he stated.

While congratulating Muslims in Kogi State and across Nigeria, the Auditor General encouraged reflection on one’s spiritual journey, compassion for others, and commitment to peace and unity.

He also extended special greetings to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, whom he praised for providing purposeful leadership and promoting good governance across the state.

“Governor Ododo’s visionary leadership continues to inspire hope and drive transformation across all sectors in the state,” he noted.

Hon. Adabenege prayed for peace, prosperity, and answered prayers for all celebrants, urging citizens to uphold the spirit of unity, tolerance, and mutual respect.

“Eid Mubarak! Barka da Sallah!” he concluded.
