Appreciation

On behalf of the Light Up Movement, I want appreciate our stakeholders, representatives of various communities, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kogi State, Kogi State Council of Ulama, Representatives of the Traditional Council, Journalists, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State, and Lokoja Local Government Chapter, National Youth Organization and Representatives of various Youth Organizations and electricity consumers who turned up for the Consumers/AEDC interaction on Service Reflective Tariff and other pressing and demanding matters.

I want to also commend the AEDC, Kogi region ably represented by Mr. Segun Medupin, Head Commercial Services; Mall. Danladi Baba, Lokoja Area Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Ajibogun, Manager Special Project Ganaja; Engr. Michael, SMD Lokoja and other staff of AEDC for their contributions and responses to various questions raised during the session.

A very big thank you to all stakeholders for the very interesting questions and observations raised. We are optimistic that AEDC will implement the resolutions reached.

On our part as Representatives of various communities we must continue to encourage our people to pay their bills and protect power installations.

As a movement, we will continue to do our best to interface with AEDC on behalf of our people on quality power supply, more investment and prompt response to fault clearing while we also encourage our people to equitably pay their bills promptly.
