Lokoja Caretaker Chairman Inaugurates Secretary, Members of Committee »

The Caretaker Chairman Lokoja Local Government, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has today inaugurated the Lokoja Transition Committee Secretary and 5 Members of the Transmission team at the Council Hall, Lokoja Local Government Secretariat.

The occasion was witnessed by the executives, stakeholders and supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) led by the Chairman, Alhaji Maikudi Bature, Director of Local Government Administration, Alhaji Aliyu Musa Omuwa, Engr. Yahaya M.D Farouk, Engr. Abdulsalam Muhammed Sagir, Management and Staff of the Local Government.

The DLG, Alhaji Aliyu Musa Omuwa in his welcome address reiterate the commitment of the Management and Staff of the Local Government to work hand in hand with the Caretaker Committee to bring more development to Lokoja Local Government.

The Party Chairman, Alhaji Maikudi Bature in his address called on members to cooperate and support the Caretaker Chairman and also ensure they maintain their loyalty to the leadership of the party in the local government under Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali. He urged them to see their appointment as the will of God and a call to service.

The Director General of Daisy Ododo Campaign Organization (DOCO) and former DLG Lokoja Local Government, Engr. Yahaya M.D Farouk MNSE, MNICE while also congratulating the newly inaugurated members attest to the hard work and dedication of the Local Government Staff. He promised to be in constant touch with the Caretaker Committee.

On his part, the Caretaker Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu thanked the Governor, Governor Yahaya Bello and Governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for entrusting the management of the affairs of the local government in their hands. He urged the members to work closely with the Heads of Department and Staff and maintain the boundaries that exist between the political office holders and the civil servants.
