Lokoja CTC Celebrates Workers on Labour Day »

The Caretaker Transition Chairman of Lokoja Local Government has congratulated the Nigeria workers on the occasion of 2024 Workers Day celebration.

According to the statement released to the public by the Special Adviser on Media, Iliyasu Zakari, the Chairman used the occasion to thank His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering commitment to the improvement of the welfare of both the state and local government workers.

The Chairman acknowledged the immense contributions of our nation’s workforce particularly the Lokoja Local Government Workers that is renowned for its dedication and resilience.

“On behalf of the Lokoja Local Government workers, I applaud the Kogi State Government ably led by His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for the steady improvement in the welfare of workers in the state.”

“Taking cue from the governor, at our own level, we are committed to improving the welfare and working conditions of our highly dedicated and resilient workers in Lokoja Local Government Area.”

He therefore enjoined members of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) to continue to support and pray for the success of the administration which he believes will translate into better lives for them.
