Lokoja LGA Chairman Submits 2026 Budget Draft, Assures of Consolidated Progress »

The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has presented a proposed budget estimate of N10,780,374,610 to the legislative council for consideration and approval.

While presenting the budget, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu stated that the administration can only achieve its promises through a robust budget and the estimates is capable of consolidating on the developmental strides of his administration.

“I wish to submit to you 2026 draft estimate to Ten Billion Seven Hundred and Eighty Million, Three Hundred and Seventy Four Thousand, Six Hundred and Ten Naira only (N10,780,374,610) for your speedy consideration and subsequent approval.”

The Chairman assured the citizens that his administration would continue in its drive to increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to compliments the statutory allocation from the federation account.

“I want to use this medium to commend the Council Leader, Principal Officers and Members of the legislative and the staff their cooperation.”

The Council Boss also extends his gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his commitment to protecting lives and prioritizing welfare of the citizens. “I want to use this medium to thank the Lokoja Local Government Party leadership, the Management and Staff of the local government for a smooth working relationship. I appeals for your overwhelming support for all the party’s candidates in all elections.”
