Next Lokoja LGA Chairmanship: Comrade Abdul formally declares intention

As the issue of the next Lokoja Local Government Chairmanship hots up, the SSA to Kogi State Governor on Industrial Training, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has declared his intention to vie for the position.

Declaring his intention at his home country of Magajiya town, Gbaude, which is an outskirt of the state capital, Comrade Abdullahi said his intention is to ensure quality service to the people of Lokoja as a whole.

The declaration took place during his annual Sallah Get-together with elders and youth of the area, which had selected friends and colleagues in attendance.

While thanking the current Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the opportunity he has given to the youth to display their ability in governance, he noted that he has worked assiduously for the party, even before appointment and that he would continue to do so in all future elections.

He however gave credit to the people of the community on how they have given him support during past elections, noting that his ability to deliver his ward and unit was a result of collective cooperation.

The aspirant used the opportunity to appeal to the people to continue in their support for the APC, noting that the party’s candidate in the November 11 gubernatorial election in Kogi State remains the best option for the people.

Comrade Abdullahi stressed that he is committed to ensuring he continued to work for the progress of the community, and promised that Governor Bello’s administration is one that rewards hard work.

He thanked the leaders of the community for the orientation they have impacted him and his peers since childhood, noting that they have guided his conducts at all times in whatever position he finds himself.

Leaders of the community and members of support groups at the event all extolled the virtues of the aspirant, and expressed their willingness to work for the APC and the aspirant in all future elections.
