MAIGARI OF LOKOJA: Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Congratulates, Hails Gov. Bello for peaceful process »

The Lokoja Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has congratulated the 7th Substantive Maigari of Lokoja, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV and His Royal Highness, Maiyaki of Kupa, Alhaji Dauda Kabir Isa as they receive their staff of office today.

The Caretaker Chairman’s congratulatory message was contained in press statement made available to newsmen by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari shortly after the presentation of Staff of Office by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in Government House, Lokoja on Wednesday 26th January, 2024.

Comrade Abdullahi Adamu while congratulating the traditional rulers thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for restoring the dignity and pride of the traditional institutions across Kogi State.

The statement further stated that the Caretaker Chairman is particularly delighted because they are coming on board almost the same time with the traditional rulers and a new government under Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He enjoined the people of Lokoja to put them in their daily prayers. “We need the support of the traditional institutions and our people to attract more government presence in Lokoja”, he added.

We are lucky to be having some of the best hands occupying the traditional stools of their forefathers. He prayed God to grant them good health and wisdom to continue on the trajectory of peace and development.
