NAKOSS Senate Reaffirms Support for President Jamiu Omeiza, Denounces Fraudulent Allegations

The Senate arm of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), has strongly dismissed a false publication purportedly signed by three senate members and an individual currently suspended for forgery. The misleading document claimed a vote of no confidence had been passed against Senate President Jamiu Muhammed Omeiza.

NAKOSS Senate in a press statement singed by several NAKOSS presidents from various institutions, clarified that these individuals lack the authority to make such decisions and labeled the publication as null and void. The Senate called on the public to disregard the false statement, emphasizing its commitment to disciplining those involved in the deceitful act.

In a unanimous decision, the NAKOSS Senate expressed full confidence in President Jamiu Muhammed Omeiza’s leadership, rejecting any allegations of misconduct. The vote of confidence emphasizes President Omeiza’s dedication to student welfare and his ability to unite the organization despite attempts to undermine his authority.

The Senate announced plans to convene a session soon to investigate the conduct of officials and review the association’s activities since the current leadership assumed office.
