NCCE accreditation team visits COE Ankpa
The Kogi State Colleges of Education, Ankpa received a team of panelists from the National Commission for Colleges of Education for the accreditation of its programmes. The accreditation team which comprises of NCCE delegates and academic dons drawn from across the country arrived the College on Sunday, 13th of March, and were received by the Management of the College.
In his welcome remarks, the Provost Dr. M.K Ibrahim welcomed the team to the State and assured them of the readiness of the College for the all important exercise. He used the opportunity to commend the State governments under the leadership Governor Yahaya Bello for his continued support to the institution.
In his comment, the leader of the team Mr. Yusuf Aliyu, Deputy Director, Department for Education Support Services & International Partnership thanked the management of the school for the warm reception accorded them. He assured the College Management that the team is made of professionals who will be fair in their assessment.
The College is presenting a total of 32 academic programmes spread across 5 Schools for accreditation. The accreditation team is expected to be in the College for a period of one week.
