New Leadership Emerges for Lokoja National Students body

The National Association of Lokoja Local Government Students (NALLGS) has elected new members of its executive to pilot its affairs.

The new leadership is led by Suleiman Ibrahim from Kupa North who is a student of University of Abuja and is to be deputised by Aisha Humairah Ibrahim of Usman Danfodio University from the Maigari Palace Area of Lokoja in Ward C.

Abdullahi Ali is the new Senate President. He is a student of University of Abuja and hails from Ward D. Sani Aliyu, a student of Gombe State University is the new General Secretary and is to be assisted by Abubakar Ahmed from Federal Polytechnic Idah.

Amina Aliyu (IBB University, Lapai) is serving as the new treasurer while Muhammed Abdulkadir is the new Financial Secretary. Deborah Aseghuru from Oworo and student of Kogi State Polytechnic (Director of Welfare) with Shaibu Jamilu from Federal Polytechnic Idah as Senate Clerk.

The rest of the executive include; Muhammed Muhammed (Publicity Secretary); Abdulkadir Muhammed (Director of Sports); Abdullahi Ibrahim (Provost); and Usman Faruq (Senate Whip).

Reacting to their emergence, the Vice President, Aisha Ibrahim promised to carry the students along in the scheme of things, noting that the new administration is ready to create a new positive path for the students.

She noted that they were young and vibrant crop of people who have the genuine interest of their fellow students at heart, and solicited the support of all stakeholders for them to succeed.

Highlights of the event was pep talks from select stakeholders who were present. The stakeholders advised the new executive to be dedicated and make efforts to live positive legacy for the future.
