November guber: Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group Congratulates Ododo, urges Sen Smart to work for APC victory »

The Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group (CAAM-G) has congratulated the APC candidate in the November 11 gubernatorial election, Alhaji Ododo Usman Ahmed over Wednesday’s High Court Judgement which dismissed a case filed against him by the immediate past Senator for Kogi West, Smart Adeyemi, challenging the emergence of Ododo.

In a press statement signed by the group, it called on the former senator to call off his judicial challenge and work for the APC in the next gubernatorial election.

According to the group, the APC has done a lot for Senator Adeyemi through Governor Yahaya Bello, and enjoined him to reciprocate by reflecting on the efforts of the administration to return him to the National Assembly against several odds.

The statement urged Sen Smart to remember the elasticity of politics and how there is the need for ‘give-and-take’ gesture, noting that it was necessary for the progress of Kogi State.

While describing Alhaji Ododo as the right man to lead the state at this point in time, CAAM-G noted that Kogi State belongs to all and that there is need for APC stakeholders to rally round the current administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, who is committed to the overall development of the state.

It said Alhaji Ododo, being a man from within the current structure in the state would consolidate on the achievements of Governor Bello in moving the state forward.
