November poll: DG Kogi West for Bello/Onoja Campaign restates confidence in APC victory as Ijumu inaugurates Campaign team
The Director General of APC Campaign Council for Western Senatorial District for the November 16 governorship poll in Kogi State, Hon Haruna Isah has expressed optimism about the chances of the incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello to win the election.
He made the remark on Tuesday in Ijumu while inaugurating the Campaign Council for the area.
Hon Haruna who is the immediate past member of the National Assembly that represented Lokoja/Kogi (Kotonkarfe) federal constituency expressed confidence in the ability of members of the campaign to deliver for the party and Governor Bello and his running mate, Hon Edward Onoja.
He called on the members to work with one another in order to achieve the objectives of the campaign, stressing that winning an election required collective and close working relationship.
On his part, the administrator of Ijumu Local government area, Hon Taufiq Isa appealed to the people of the area to give massive support to the APC and its candidate, Governor Yahaya Bello and his deputy, Onoja in the election.
He made a case on why Kogi West should give the party their support as that would serve as opportunity for party leaders to make better bargains with government after the poll.
Speaking on behalf of other members, the Director General of the campaign council for Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon Adewale Omofaiye expressed deligt about its membership and said he was confident of delivering the area for the APC in the November 16 gubernatorial election.
