Omoluabi Salutes Gov. Bello On 2nd Anniversary, hails giant strides in Security, Education, Health, Unity and Youth/Women Development

The Special Adviser to Kogi state Governor, Alh Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Hon. Olabode Adeyemi has congratulated the governor on the second anniversary of his second term in office, describing the last two years as massively fruitful, impactful and outstanding in the service of the people of the confluence state.

According to Adeyemi, the governor has redefined good governance not only by the gigantic infrastructural development he is embarking upon across the state but ensuring uninterrupted welfare of workers in Kogi State.

In a release in Lokoja, the state capital on Tuesday, Bode Adeyemi who had in the last few days engaged in series of meetings on the implementation of the minimum wage applauded the governor for holding the welfare of civil servants with utmost importance.

He said Kogi has been put on the map of honour with the aggressive renewal it is witnessing at the moment which will in no distant time boost the economic and business activities in the state.

Among other developmental projects the governor has embarked upon, Mr. Adeyemi listed Confluence University of Science & Technology, 300 bed Okene Reference Hospital, Ajaokuta Ultra Modern Hospital, Gegu Ultra Modern Hospital, Isanlu Ultra Modern Hospital, 56 kilometre Idah-Ajaka-Umomi-Ejule and Ankpa Township Road.

Others according to Mr. Bode Adeyemi are Okene, Kabba, Adavi and Lokoja township roads, Kogi Civic Centre Lokoja, GYB Model Schools Lokoja, Ajiola and Okene, Adavi township road, Olamaboro roads, Kogi East electrification project, Ganaja interchange flyover, Kogi Revenue House, Omi Rice Mill, Kogi state University Teaching Hospital, Ayingba, among others.

While extolling the governor for being an exemplary leader who deeply connects with the people, he called on all Kogites to key into the dream of the governor for a modern Kogi and support his developmental strides.

He expressed optimism that more massive developmental projects will adorn the state before the end of the Governor’s tenure in 2024. He further emphasized the need for the people to pray and support his Presidential calling, stating that it is the only way Kogi, North Central and indeed Nigeria can experience accelerated Development, unity, security and good governance generally.
