Open Letter to President Tinubu: Our Patience Won’t Exceed Six Months
Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I hope this letter got to you through your aide’s as it relates to the untold hardship we are currently faced within a country of over 150 Million Nigerians not enjoying three (3) square meal.
Your Excellency, we trust on your government to make life of poor Nigerians better through your policy action plans coupled with the renewed Hope Agenda.
We supported your administration policies on fuel subsidy removal and free market economy, student education loan scheme, new task regain and we stand with you to let the poor breath but unfortunately, the recent hike in petroleum price is unimaginable and least expected.
Yes, we acknowledge your sensitivity to our plights about the 8,000 thousand naira conditional cash transfer and the immediate cancellation of such.
We support the state of emergency declared on food in the country, too.
But then, we cannot endure this hardship anymore.
If the life of the poor masses is not bettered from this year, starting with a drastic fall in PMS price, opening of foods and vehicles borders, strong appreciation of the Naira against the Dollar, fall in in the price of house rent and a drastic drop in the prices of foods and other goods and services; it will result to a state of breakdown of law and order and crime rate will automatically be normalize for an average Nigerian to survive.
Therefore, we would be giving our new government under your administration a whole of six (6) months (May to October) benefits of doubts to start seeing good results that must positively change the lives of the poor masses to better; starting with a drastic fall in PMS price, opening of foods and vehicles borders, strong appreciation of the naira against the dollar, and a drastic drop in the prices of foods and other goods and services.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should as a matter of urgency begin to look inward and see beyond subjecting average Nigerians to untold sufferings to avoid unhalted reactions across-the-board and once positive results seem elusive by October, 2023, judgment shall begin from House of God and a vote of No Confidence will be issued by Nigeria youths which may result to break of law and order.
Let’s the renewed Hope Agenda be for the benefit of the poor/average Nigerians.
May Nigeria Succeed, Amen
