Pastor Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade Marks 59th Birthday Celebration with Outreach to Orphanage, Widows
The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Pastor Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D., celebrated her 59th birthday in grand style by continuing a cherished tradition that has spanned 19 years—reaching out to orphans and widows. This year’s celebration, organized through her NGO, the Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans (FAIWO), was particularly special, with friends and family joining to extend her legacy of compassion.
Pastor Mrs. Ayoade and her team visited Rehoboth Orphanage Home and Yekope Orphanage Home in Kogi State, where the children were gifted with an array of essentials, including writing materials, toiletries, foodstuffs, and free medical insurance. The orphans expressed deep gratitude for the kindness and support that will make a lasting impact on their lives.
In addition, over 100 widows received 10kg bags of rice each, along with cash gifts, wrappers, and other essential items. The widows, touched by this generous act, offered heartfelt prayers and thanks to Pastor Mrs. Ayoade, recognizing her as a source of hope and support.
