Pharm. Asuku; His Purpose And Focus »

The journey of life is worthless if it is not embarked on with a purpose in mind and a man who lives a life of purpose is a man who truly lives; conversely, there abound trials confronting a man of purpose, because living a life of purpose is often a threat to the status quo and the norms of the society. A man of a purpose is a man with a sense of direction.

It is not far from the truth that most men live their lives in pursuit of their selves interests but a great man lives his life in pursuit of the interest of his fellow men for a better society and it becomes easier to achieve when it is done in the spirit of love and selflessness.

The above analogy encapsulates the purpose and focus of Pharm. Abudulkareem Jamiu Asuku, the current Chief of staff to Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello.

Pharm. Asuku is a man who is obsessed with the purpose of his mandate. The responsibility of the mandate entrusted in him does not eludes him. He is not deterred with the privileges and paraphernalia of his office. It is sober to know that he treats life’s sequences as they come: he sees yesterday as a history; tomorrow as a mystery and today as a gift, which is a present given to him by God to do what is right for the benefit of humanity.

It is unarguable that Pharm. Asuku’s focus revolves round the success of his principal and the progress of the state. He has often reiterated that his focus is to deliver positive results and not to involve in “side talks”.

Although, he is not unaware or naïve with the politics of his office but he has not let that be an encumbrance to the great and hairsplitting task bestowed on him. As it stands today, the focus of Pharm. Asuku is seeing that Governor Yahaya Bello succeed in delivering the dividend of democracy in Kogi State and leaving a legacy which others coming behind will build on. This is the purpose and focus of Pharm. Asuku.
