Philanthropy: Asuku Donates .25M to Yagba Amputee
The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor Pharm Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku has donated the sum of 250,000 NGN to an aspiring business man from Odo Ere in Yagba West Local Government.
The beneficiary who was facing serious economic challenges following the loss of his palms in an attack received the cash donation through the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Sensitization Mr Tade Joseph, ANIPR in Lokoja on Tuesday.
Present at the event was the Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Sensitization Hon Olakunle Ola and other stakeholders.
Presenting the cash donation, the SSA counseled the beneficiary to stick to the business plan he presented and avoid making any impulsive purchases that are not captured in the plan. He further thanked the Chief of Staff for his love and support not only for Yagba people but the needy in the state and across the country. He urged other people of means to emulate Pharm Asuku by extending hands of love to others.
The beneficiary Mr Oriyomi thanked the Chief of Staff and promised to utilize the fund strictly for the purpose for which it was given.
On his part, Hon Kunle Ola praised the chief of staff, noting that his name is now synonymous to helping and lifting others. He prayed that God would continue to uplift him.
