Profound Appreciation for Successful 4th Combined Convocation of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja »

On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, I humbly and sincerely wish to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and Visitor to Kogi State Polytechnic, Alhaji(Dr) Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON for the invaluable love, trust and support that led to the huge success of the 4th Convocation Ceremonies of the institution.

In a special way, I sincerely and profoundly the Governor Elect and next Visitor to Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, for the huge honour of personal presence and support throughout the occasion. I am indeed, humbled by the inestimable gestures.

I equally appreciate the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Chief Edward David Onoja, represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Sunday Faleke, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr (Mrs) Folashade Arike Ayoade; the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Umar Aliyu Yusuf; the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Comfort Unwuchola , other honourable members of the State House of Assembly, the Commissioners for Education, Science and Technology Hon. Wemi Jones, other members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants for the invaluable support and commitment to the success of the Convocation Ceremonies.

Special appreciation to the Chief Judge of Kogi State and President, Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal and other Justices for the care and support all through.

The Kogi State Chairman, All Progressives Congress(APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, and other party leaders at the State, Local Government and Ward Levels are specially appreciated for being part of the success story.

I give special kudos to the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwunmi, Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, Professor Marietu Tenuche, the Vice-Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Professor Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu ,the Vice-Chancellor, Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor Kehinde Imise Temitope, Rectors of Polytechnics and Monotechnics and Provosts of Colleges, for the invaluable support we received all through.

I profoundly appreciate the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Federal University Lokoja, Prof. M. S. Audu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Prof. Daniel F Atidoga and other Principal Officers of our tertiary institutions for the love and care.

My profound appreciation also goes to the Royal Fathers and Traditional Rulers in the State, most especially the Ata Igala, the Obaro of Kabba, the Ohimegye-Igu of Koton-Karfe, Ejeh Ofu, Ohi of Eganyi and all other royal fathers for the huge honour.

I appreciate the JNI, Council of Ulama’u, the CAN and clerics of all faiths and denominations for their presence and prayers.

I deeply appreciate all heads of security agencies in the state, representatives of various banks and other financial institutions and heads of agencies and parastatals, for making the occasion colorful.

I want to also appreciate the Chairman, Kogi State Polytechnic Governing Council and other members of the Council, Principal Officers, members of the Academic Board Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic for their inestimable contributions contributed to the success of the Ceremonies

The Chairman and members of the Convocation Central Planning committee and sub-committees, the Public Relations and Protocol Officer and her team, I profoundly appreciate you all.

To representatives of youths and students’ unions, women groups, my beloved family, members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm, corporate bodies, and individuals too numerous to mention, I say a big thank-you.

To our Graduands, your presence in huge numbers was the icing on the cake. Congratulations!
