Provost facilitates purchase of security vehicle for COE Ankpa »

In keeping up with one of his vision of aggressively pursuing private sector investment in the development of the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, the Provost, Dr. M.K Ibrahim has facilitated the purchase of a patrol vehicle for the security unit of the College.

While presenting keys to the Chief Security Officer of the College, he stated that his interest in security is in line with that of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello who has done remarkably well in keeping the State safe from criminals.

The Provost reiterated that government alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of developing our educational facilities and hence the need for private sector involment. In this regards, he made a firm commitment to attracting more private sector investment in the development of the College. This he said will be achieved through the new Directorate for Alumni & Private Sector Relations of the College.

The event was witnessed by Principal Officers of the College, Deans & Directors who were full of praise for the Provost for the turn around being experienced in the College in just one month into his tenure.
