Reference Hospital CMD takes advocacy visit to religious leaders
In a separate visit, the CMD met the Chief Imam of Okene Alh Salihu Abere at his Inike residence Okene with very prominent Islamic scholars, Imams in attendance and the Kogi central Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), led by the CAN chairman, Pastor Joe Akpana who came calling to the Reference Hospital Okene with the Bishop of Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Dr Emmanuel Onsachi as part of the delegation.
The CMD Prof. Avidime who intimated the religious leaders that the city is blessed with the world class hospital built by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello CON. Prof Avidime described the hospital as beautiful outside and inside, having all the necessary equipment to cater for the health needs of the people of Kogi central and beyond. The hospital will attract medical tourism to Ebira land and will boost the economy of Kogi central people.
Prof Avidime seeks their prayers for the governor the APC governorship candidate, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, the management and staff of the hospital and solicits their support in making the hospital fulfil its mandate as well as serve their followers.
He further reiterated that the hospital is affordable and there’s a need to educate faithfuls to take advantage of low cost to access healthcare services in the hospital
Both religious leaders eulogies his Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, and prayed for the Chief Medical Director for a resounding success during his tenure. They promised to educate follower to seek healthcare services in the hospital in view of the affordability and the availability of specialised services that in now so close.
