SECURITY: Dekina LG Caretaker Chairman meets with traditional rulers, urges synergy »

The Caretaker Chairman Dekina of local government area, Hon. John Urah Ikani met with the traditional rulers in across the local government led by Alhaji Usman Obaje, the Ejeh of Dekina along with other district chiefs in the local government today in Dekina.

The meeting according to the local government chairman was to form a Synergy and ensure a smooth working relationship with the traditional council in order to maintain a strong connection with the local community and addressing their concerns and needs effectively.

Hon John Urah Ikani in his Message promised to work with all the traditional rulers to ensure the security of lives and properties of every citizen of DEKINA LG is Guaranteed.

“I want to First thank God, and Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving me this privilege to pilots the affairs of Dekina Local Government Area.

“The security of Dekina is very paramount, we are not going to leave any stone unturn, I will work closely with all the traditional Rulers and security agencies to ensure safe and secured Dekina.

He also said the traditional rulers have a better understanding of their terrain and people, adding that their perspectives and expertise can provide valuable insights and guidance will bring peace and stability to their respective communities.

He urged the chiefs to be security conscious and report any person or groups in their various areas Vandalizing and Stealing of government properties or other Crimes to the appropriate Authority.

The Ejeh of Dekina, H.R.H. Alhaji Dr. Usman Obaje who’s the Chairman of the Traditional rulers in Dekina LG, spoke during the meeting,. He commended Hon John Urah Ikani for proactively engaging with the Traditional Rulers. ” You have started on a Good note by Recognizing your fathers, we the Traditional rulers are going to Corporate and work with you to ensure the safety of our land.
