SECURITY: Igalamela-Odolu Caretaker Chairman meets with district chiefs »

The Caretaker Chairman of Igalamela-Odolu local government area, Barr Cosmas Atabor, earlier today met with chairman, Igalamela-Odolu traditional council His Royal Highness, Abel Etuh, the Etemahi of Igalamela Odolu local government, along with other district chiefs in the local government.

The meeting according to the local government chairman was to ensure a smooth working relationship with the traditional council in order to maintaining a strong connection with the local community and addressing their concerns and needs effectively.

He said the traditional ruler have a better understanding of their terrain and people, adding that their perspectives and expertise can provide valuable insights and guidance in decision-making processes and policy implementation.

He urged the chiefs to be security conscious and report any suspicious person or groups in their various areas, assuring that he is commited to security and wellbeing of the people of Igalamela-Odolu local government area.

Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, the Etemahi, HRH, Abel Etuh commended Hon. Barr Chief Cosmas Ilemona Atabor CIA for proactively engaging with the district chiefs. He said the collaboration can lead to better governance outcomes, community development initiatives, and the promotion of the local government’s cultural heritage and traditions.

He assured of the traditional council’s corporation in ensuring that the administration succeeds in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
