The Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor on Federal Agency Matters, Hon (Prince) Okoliko Gideon Opaluwa has expressed deep grief over the death of the mother of the Governor, Hajiya Hawawu Oziohu Bello.

He said death was inevitable for any mortal, noting that even though it is painful to see such virtuous woman exit the earth at this point in time, he, the immediate and extended family and citizens of the state take solace in the fact that Mama lived a life worthy of emulation.

The aide who prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus, enjoined all well meaning Kogites to add her in their supplications.

According to Prince Okoliko, no time is better for a loved one to die no matter the advancement in age, adding that even though no one can question God, the living must always remember the dead in supplications at all times.

He therefore urged his Boss the Governor and the first family to know that the people of the state grieve with them at this trying time, and called on him to be strong as that what Mama would want at this moment in time.

The aide therefore prayed Almighty God to grant the entire state fortitude to bear the costly loss.
