State Appointees visit Lokoja LG Chairman, Chant way forward for Council development »

In their stride to galvanize both human and material resources in the overall development of Lokoja Local Government Area and Kogi State at large, the Chairman of the Lokoja All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders Forum who doubles as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Job Creation and SMEs Development, Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye over the weekend conveyed a meeting of all state appointees and the Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the local government Hon. Maikudi Bature on a working visit to the Chairman Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Mohammed Danasebe Mohammed.

Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye appreciated the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Mohammed Danasebe Mohammed for his proactive measures in ensuring safety of lives and properties in Lokoja Local Government and for appointing over forty youths of the local government as a deliberate effort in curtailing youth restiveness in the area. An appointment he is personally funding from his resources.

He thanked the chairman for his tireless efforts in ensuring peaceful coexistence among all the nationalities in Lokoja.

Aguye also thanked the acting party chairman in the local government Hon. Maikudi Bature for always eager to work along all the appointees in the best interest of the people of the local government. He appreciated the leadership and mentorship of Alh. Suleiman Babadoko who has always been a guide through his advices and support to the party at all levels.
He appreciated Hon. Best for his active involvement in the party’s activities and loyalty to the party hyrachy.

The Special Adviser stressed that the visit was a symbol of unity among the party leaders, stakeholders and members at the local government level, adding that Lokoja Local Government Area will set the pace for other local government areas in the state to emulate.

In his response, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Mohammed Danasebe Mohammed thanked the appointees for the visit which he described as first of it kind. He stressed that the effort by the state appointees to collaborate with the local government organ to fast-track the overall development of the area and ensure continued synergy among all stakeholders is a welcome development.

Hon. Aguye used the fora to appreciate His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello and his chief of staff pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu for their love and support for Lokoja Local Government Area since inception of this administration. He prayed Allah to make our goal of GYB2PYB a reality. He also used the fora to assure His Excellency of more support from Lokoja Local Government Area.
