The All Progressive Congress today 5th November 2022, staged a first of it kind solidarity walk in Ihima district of Okehi local government area of Kogi State. The solidarity walk that attracted hundreds of thousands of APC supporters from the district and local government also has in attendance, the Hon Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs Hon Ozigi Deedat, the Okehi/Adavi house of representative candidate, Hon Idris Ozi, the Okehi State House of Assembly candidate, Hon Prince Hassan Otokiti Zak.

Others are the local government chairman, Hon Abdulrahim Ohiare, House of Assembly member and the Majority leader, Hon Muktar Bajeh. Senior Special Assistants to Kogi State governor from the district, head of agencies and Commissions from the area with their supporters.

The walk commenced at about 10am from Obangede junction in Oboroke and has it termination point at Ikuehi in Ihima. It was an over crowded sea of heads and the ancient city of Ihima stood still.

At Ikuehi, where the podium was mounted, leaders of the party from the district and local government addressed the crowd who were full of joy and enthusiasm and this lasted for almost an hour.

It was a successful and peaceful outing and the people of Ihima sent a good message ahead of the 2023 election.

The Podium was mounted close to a pole that has a bee nest. After the address by the leaders and they climbed down the podium to take their leave, 4 birds, flew and perch on the bee nest. This led to the disperse of the bee. The bee didn’t even disrupt the joyous crowd who continued to sing and dance to the beautiful drum beat. It took almost an hour to clear the gridlock which start from the boundary of Ihima/Adavi Eba to Enyi nogede.

Those who know about bees, will agree that they could stay in their nest and remain calm if not troubled. But once troubled, they feel unsafe and try to fly away. This is just the fact of what transpired at the solidstate walk.

It is however not surprising reading on social media that Bee disperse APC supporters in solidarity walk. This is laughable and more ridiculous is the fact that people believe it and even blog it.
The fact of the scenario is that, the message is passed and it was loud.

The other fact is this, after February 2023 election, we will know who actually is chased by bee when INEC will declare the winner of the election.

The crowd actually sent a palpable tension to the opposition. To us, it was never unexpected, because we know Kogi Central is 99.9 APC. But to others, who think they are on ground, it was shocking, so not knowing what to say and how to cook fake story of the successful walk, they resort to the disperse of the Bee by birds.

The video and pictures of the walk and gathering is everywhere. That’s exactly what is causing panic and not the Bee.
