Transition: Aide pays glorious tribute to governor Bello

The Personal Physician to the Kogi state governor, Abdulazeez Adeiza Adams has described his principal, Governor Yahaya Bello as a builder of Men and a compassionate leader who has made huge investments and allowed everyone unde him to excel in their respective calling.
He made this known in a special message to the state governor as the New Direction government under the leadership of Governor Bello prepares for transition on Saturday, 27th January
The Medical practitioner thanked the governor for supporting and believing in him and tolerating his weaknesses while he also appreciated his family, wife and children who struggled to cope with his absence most times.
Dr. Azeez also used the medium to thank the Governor for allowing him grow tremendously in several capacity noting that it only take a “builder conscious” leader to fast track their subordinates’ growth.

Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB), a builder of men and compassionate leader.
On the 27th of January 2024 I shall join my priceless principal in stepping aside. I shall be stepping aside as the personal physician to the Executive Governor of Kogi state (H.E Alh. Yahaya Bello, CON), having served him for eight(8) years.
In 2016 as a young single and proud medical doctor, an obstetrics & gynecology trainee at the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, Abuja whose focus was to become a consultant OBGYN in about 5years time, I was called by my principal to join him Lugard house Lokoja. Eight years later, many of my classmates(uniJos class of 2003) and colleagues are now specialist consultants in various disciplines of medicine, others are excelling within the profession and even outside medical practice.
For me, having been called surprisingly by GYB to serve as his personal doctor in April 2016 without any prior anticipation of such,
Despite striving to perform my primary and official responsibilities Allah has been merciful and kind to me in various instances;
- Got married to my darling wife and blessed with two lovely children.
- Masters in international affairs and diplomacy (MIAD), ABU Zaria.
- Masters in public health (MPH in-view), ABU Zaria.
- Hyperbaric physician: Achieved following an educational course on Hyperbaric team training, United States of America and became a member of the US Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (MUHM). Then, a compulsory hospital based training on hyperbaric medicine in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
THE CERTIFICATES;
- A certificate course (on improving global health) with Harvard university- (edX)
- Certificate course on “Health Economics and Policy” from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE)
- Certificate course on “Modeling Cost Effectiveness in Healthcare” from the LSE.
- Completed a certificate course on “economics of healthcare delivery” from unversity of Pensilvania- online, USA.
- BLS certification course with postgraduate institute of medicine course, Englewood- online, USA.
Then, became a Registered Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management -chartered (MNIM).
Thank you your Excellency GYB for supporting and believing in me and tolerating my weaknesses, to my wonderful family, my wife and my children who struggled to cope with my absence most times, thank you all.
