Transition: Former DG, Lands, Urban Development, Hon. Nazir Yusuf Ochi congratulates Governor Yahaya Bello over completion of an outstanding tenure
The Former Director General, Bureau of Lands and Urban Development, Hon. Nazir Yusuf Ochi has sent a congratulatory message to the immediate past governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over what he described as outstanding conclusion of his eight year tenure as the governor of Kogi State.
Hon. Nazir asserted that governor Bello leadership span has profoundly elevated Kogi youths like himself to greater height noting that the governor built the capacity of several youths into formidable leadership
The former bureau DG also commended the former governor’s style of inclusive and transformative leadership which made Kogi State demonstrate excellent delivery in all sectors, adding that the Governor made numerous strides which are innumerable to mention.
He said that creating a more reliable and trusted platform for land administration in Kogi State was made possible by the former governor’s innovative administrative style and his excellent approach to policies and programmes which have been made evident in reforms in the Bureau’s, equitable land distribution, sensible and attractive development in the state at large.
In his words, “Your vision and dedication have been instrumental to the growth of Kogi State and history will always be kind to you”
He said he wished him all the best for the future, his kindness would not be forgotten so soon and the valuable lessons learnt under his tutelage would remain indelible.
While the former Bureau DG prayed for strength, good health and more of Allah’s blessing on the political leader of kogi state as he forges ahead, he thanked him for being an incredible mentor and guide attesting that he has left a lasting impression on him and our dear state.
