The Vice President, West Africa, Pan-African Youth Union (PYU), DR. Oladele John Nihi has congratulated the newly emerged chairperson of the African Union and President of the Republic of Senegal, President Macky Sall ,adding that he is a perfect fit for the role.

The new chairperson of the African union emerged Following the outcome of the Thirty-Fifth (35th) Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union held at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa,

Dr. Nihi in a press statement signed by Kelvin Oluseyi Eleta, Head Media and Publicity PYU, West Africa described President Macky Sall as a competent hand for the positioning of the continent on the right path towards the actualization of every set agendas, particularly the Agenda 2063 of the Union.

While acknowledging that the work on the shoulders of President Macky Sall is enormous, Dr. Nihi commended the outgoing Chairperson, H.E. Felix- Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for his initiatives, and commitment to upholding and uniting the African States. He also commend him for a successful Thirty-Fifth (35th) Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Union, at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa.

The Vice President of PYU in Africa, Dr. Oladele John Nihi admonished the newly elected Chairperson to make the youths of Africa priority in his Agenda for the continent, noting that youth remained the driving force behind any successful government and advocacies aimed at achieving every set objectives of any government.

Dr. Oladele John Nihi also expressed his willingness to work harmoniously with President Macky Sall as he steers the affairs of the most important and sensitive government in the entire globe.
