Why I am running for Yagba East Assembly seat

Ogbeni David Oni Sunday, has given reasons why he is contesting the Yagba East Constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly in 2023.

Addressing a crowd of supporters in Isanlu on Saturday, Ogbeni said that the desire to push quality legislation that’ll better the lives of youths and less privilege, as well as the need to better the overall lots of constituents are reasons for his decision to represent the people.

He said, “When you look around, you see that Yagba East yearns for quality representation. A representation that’ll be the voice to echo their collective yearnings for improved basic amenities to make their lives easier.

“As a lover of the people and someone who is giving back to the society in form of empowerment, social welfare programmes, facilitation of solar powered street lights amongst others, I feel that I can provide the needed quality representation for the people”.

Engr. Ogbeni commended Governor Yahaya Bello for providing him and several other young people with the opportunity to contribute to governance, adding that he remains the number one youths ambassador in the country.

“Now is the time to consolidate on the platform provided by Governor Bello, harness the power of our youthful population and create a better future for my people. This is why I am contesting the Yagba East State Constituency seat; to bring quality representation to our people. You deserve that.” he concluded.
