WisdomBank Mourns Death Of Captain Haruna Umar
The Director General Protocol to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Mr Jibril Abu (WisdomBank), has joined citizens of Ajaokuta LGA of the state in offering his deepest sympathy to the Chairman of Ajaokuta LGA over the passing away of his Special Assistant on Security, Captain Haruna Umar (RTD) on Monday, 1st February, 2021.
“I am indeed saddened by this irreplaceable loss and pray especially for his family at this very difficult period of grief. God will comfort them and grant everyone the grace to bear this loss and strength to remain steadfast”.
The former Secretary recalls that, whilst he served as the Secretary to Ajaokuta LGA, Captain acted like a Father figure to just everyone. In his submission, he said, “Captain Haruna was extremely slow to anger, slow to speak but quick to cheerfulness. He did not just exist as an appointee to the Grassroot Government, he was seen to be dutiful, astute, with a rare ability to accurately assess situations & people. Captain had that witty skills in turning his findings into advantage.
He simply brought his military expertise to bare whilst the Chairman ran the race of sanitising Ajaokuta LGA of crime and criminality.
We thank the Almighty God for his fruitful life which has become a model for most people willing to serve their Fatherland, as well as those who are aspiring to become exemplary leaders. We pray Allah reposes his soul in eternal bliss and grant his immediate and distant families the fortitude to carry on peaceful with life in his absence.
