Yuletide: Kogi Health Commissioner Congratulates Christians, Harps on Love, Sacrifice, Prayers

Christians in Kogi State have been enjoined to use the period of Christmas to spread the message of love, peace, and understanding whilst praying for lasting peace in the country.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Health, Hon (Dr) Zakari Usman gave the charge on Christmas to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a Goodwill message signed by Hon Zakari, the performing Health Commissioner tasked Christians to further adhere to the virtues of Jesus Christ which include love, unity, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence, which by extension, constitute the fundamental ingredients for development.

He called for prayers for Leaders across the State and country and particularly for himself as Commissioner for Health to continually record groundbreaking achievements in the thematic health sector of Kogi State.

“I celebrate with Christians in Kogi State, Nigeria, and the diaspora on another auspicious occasion of Christmas.

“I wish you all a Merry Christmas and pray that God Almighty grants your heart desires,“ he added.
