We are for Yahaya Bello, Our door is locked. – Olamaboro APC

The delegate and stakeholders engagement tour embarked upon by the 21 local government administrators in Kogi State today received a huge boost as delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olamaboro local government adopt Governor Yahaya Bello as their preferred aspirant for the forthcoming APC gubernatorial primary election slated for August 16th, 2019.

The delegates made this public declaration in Okpo in the presence of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Honorable Edward Onoja, the 21 local government administrators, party stakeholders and the media.

The Chairman of APC in Olamaboro local government, Alhaji Ibrahim Abu said Olamaboro has gained tremendously from the government of Governor Yahaya Bello. He said the special relationship that exist between the Governor and party members is unprecedented, assuring that they will do everything to sustain it because it guarantees a better future for the party and the people at the grassroot.

He advised other aspirants in the party to forget about Olamaboro delegates, saying that they are fully behind Governor Yahaya Bello.

“Our case in Olamaboro is different and we don’t do hide and seek, we want to advise other aspirants not to waste their time trying to woo any of our delegate because we are unanimous in our adoption of Governor Bello. Our door is locked”. He said.

Earlier in his opening remark, the administrator of the local government, Hon. Adejoh Friday appreciated the Governor of Kogi State for according due attention to Olamaboro, saying that they have never had it so good.

He assured that Olamaboro remains one of the strong holds of APC in the state, and urged the delegates to show gratitude by delivering one hundred percent for governor Bello during the primary election.

ALGON chairman, Hon. Taofiq Isah expressed confidence in Olamaboro delegates and party members, saying that thay have proven to be core Yahaya Bello supporters times without number.

The Kogi State APC secretary, Hon Joshua Onoja commended ALGON for the initiative which he described as one of a kind. He said the engagement goes a long way to further show the respect that the government has for party members and a display of the harmonious relationship that exists among the APC family in Kogi State.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon Edward Onoja appreciated the people of Olamaboro for always standing by truth and for proving to the whole world that gratitude, loyalty and trustworthiness are the core values of a true Olamaboro blood.

He said that Olamaboro and indeed the entire Igala kingdom has witnessed unprecedented development in the few years of Yahaya Bello as Governor, saying that it is only natural that majority of the people are solidly behind the Governor because “we are a people who don’t pay good with evil”.

“Governor Bello has legacy projects dotted across the length and breathe of Kogi East, we cannot begin to count the ones in Olamaboro alone, they are enormous. Not to mention our sons and daughters whom he appointed into various exalted positions in his government, they are all a testimony of the Governor’s love for the people of Kogi East”.

He called on the people not to fall for the antics of those he described as Judases among the people, saying that they were only playing their last card as their acts has exposed them as enemies of the people.
